A team member will respond accordingly as soon as possible.

Note that all submissions are automatically shared with the Midtown Neighbors’ Association President for visibility, and are anonymously discussed in the post-festival debrief with representatives from the Music Midtown production teams, Department of Parks, Midtown Neighbors’ Association (NPU-E), and NPU F.

All emergencies should be reported to 911.

Sound checks begin Friday, September 16th from 5:00pm – 9:00pm, and continue prior to performances on Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 9:00am.

See day-by-day traffic maps here

The following streets are affected by lane or street closures during various times between September 9 – 22, 2022.

The following streets are barricaded to limit vehicle traffic to Resident Access Only on September 17 – 18, 2022:

  • Charles Allen Drive between 8th and 10th
  • Taft Ave between 8th and 10th
  • Argonne Ave between 8th and 10th
  • Myrtle St between 8th and 10th

Community members with vehicles that need to navigate past traffic barricades on Resident Access Only Streets may obtain vehicle Dash Passes during Dash Pass Distribution September 15 – 17, 2022.

Proof of residency is required to obtain a Dash Pass to navigate Resident Access Only streets.

See more information under Dash Passes.

On September 17 and 18, 2022, Music Midtown will be in Piedmont Park, and the following streets will have traffic barricades placed there to limit vehicle traffic to Resident Access Only:

  • Charles Allen Drive between 8th and 10th
  • Taft Ave between 8th and 10th
  • Argonne Ave between 8th and 10th
  • Myrtle St between 8th and 10th
  • 9th St between Myrtle and Charles Allen Drive
  • 11th St east of Piedmont Ave
  • 12th St east of Piedmont Ave
  • Park Drive west of Monroe
  • Orme Circle west of Monroe
  • Elmwood Dr west of Monroe
  • Cresthill Ave west of Monroe

Neighbors with vehicles that need to navigate Resident Access Only streets on September 17 – 18, 2022 may obtain vehicle Dash Passes from the community post in front of Skate Escape between September 15 – 17, 2022 during Dash Pass Distribution hours listed below.

Dash Passes visually enable more efficient communication to officers posted at traffic barricades that the vehicle is attributed to a local address, rather than an event patron or general traffic.

Dash Passes do not provide parking on Resident Access Only streets. All standard and posted parking laws still apply on the other side of the traffic barricades.

Note: during special events, illegal parking fines may increase significantly for parking in a posted residential parking area without a city-issued residential parking permit.

Proof of residency is required to obtain Dash Passes for Resident Access Only streets: (1) a valid ID, and (2) most recent utility bill OR a recent lease agreement.

Neighbors who wish to pre-verify their residency prior to Dash Pass Distribution at Skate Escape may do so [here]. Upon submission verification, Neighbors will receive a Verification Code to bring to Dash Pass Distribution for quickerpickerupper.

If driving to Dash Pass Distribution, those with Verification Codes and those seeking mobility support won’t even have to get out of the car! Check out Dash Pass Drive-Thru details [here].

If walking to Dash Pass Distribution, we hope you’ll get to stay long enough to also meet our generous hosts at Skate Escape and Tic Tac Coffee.

The deadline to submit residency pre-verification requests is Tuesday, September 13, 2022 by 11:59pm EST.

Dash Pass Distribution – Skate Escape @ 12th and Piedmont

  • Thursday, September 15th from 12pm – 7pm
  • Friday, September 16th from 12pm – 7pm
  • Saturday, September 17th from 9am – 12pm

Impacted neighbors who are unable to obtain a vehicle dash pass during Dash Pass Distribution should not contact Skate Escape nor the Music Midtown Box Office.

Instead, on event days please:

  • (1) identify yourself as a Resident to the traffic officer at the barricade
  • (2) if requested, present ID with your residential address (and a recent utility bill if your address is not up to date on your ID)

Questions or concerns can be submitted directly to us [here].

Pending information from MARTA and Midtown High School.

We expect to update this section again by August 15, 2022.

Should there be a large accumulation of attendee-related trash on your property (keep in mind most of the clean-up occurs overnight and in the morning each event day), please submit a Community Support Ticket online to report the exact location of the debris. [Submit ticket here.]

The clean up crew will begin working each day of the event from the outside (in the neighborhood) to the inside (within the park). Clean up crews may be cleaning in the streets overnight until roughly 3am, returning at daylight for anything previously unseen.

Music Midtown is placing portable toilets outside of the gated festival area. Public portable toilets will be placed at the Midtown and Arts Center MARTA Stations, and Charles Allen Drive on the Midtown High School side of the street, and Monroe Drive near the Stadium ticket booths.
